Procurement and Delivery of Plant Components

Procurement is an important tool for a plant constructor. Full responsibility and guarantee for EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction / turn key) or EP (Engineering and Procurement) by Dipl. Ing. SCHERZER GmbH. High quality equipment made in Europe for plant engineering and construction The components delivered by SCHERZER have already proven themselves through decades of use and can be used for more than 25 years if maintained and services on a regular basis.

Erection of plants

If a project has been agreed upon as EPC (turnkey erection), plant erection is our scope of supply.

Erection supervision

If a project has been agreed upon as EP (engineering and procurement), this is part of our customer's scope of supply. Depending on the contract, the experts from Dipl. Ing. Scherzer GmbH may also be responsible for monitoring and ensuring a proper performance of the respective erection services on site.

Oversight of the on-site construction supervision, coordination of the specialists involved in the construction supervision, especially checking for conformance and releaseing third party plans.
Setting up and monitoring a time schedule (bar diagram).
Warning contractors that they are behind schedule.
Acceptance of supplies and services in cooperation with specialists involved in on-site construction supervision and planning and job supervision while drawing up a record of the results of the acceptance inspection.
Applying for official acceptance and participating therein.
Handover of the object including preparation and handover of the necessary documents, e.g. acceptance inspection records and inspection reports.
Preparation of maintenance instructions for the object.
Monitoring of performance testing of plant components and the overall plant.
Preparation of a list of limitation periods of the warranty claims.
Cost schedule and cost control.

Commissioning

Commissioning is one of the most important tasks of the specialists responsible for the contractual sections. Here all of Scherzer's specialists make sure together with the relevant subcontractors of the ancillary systems that the initial start-up of the plant is smooth and successful. The general parameters are checked here and adjusted and the plant is configured to achieve and deliver optimal results.

Performance Testing

Upon successful completion of startup and adjustment of all parameters, the plant is subjected to a performance test. During that test, the contractually stipulated parameters for the plant are checked and recorded in a report.

Documentation and Handover

Documentation and Operating Manual For the customer and plant operator, there are one of the most important documents for plant operation. All documents are summarized in detail and handed over on a DVD or other data carrier. Everything is arranged so that it is easy to follow and understand and all further details can easily be found via links. The documents primarily consist of the following parts:

Compilation of technical drawings and calculations according to completion, i.e. as-built documents.
Compilation of plant certificates, operating instructions, maintenance and repair instructions or official licenses and operating permits.
Manuals and release records for the entire project.

After Sales Service

The after sales services, such as maintenance, spare parts and other services, are handled by a subsidiary Scherzer Umwelttechnik GmbH and ensure that the plants continue to operate safely and reliably.
