For more than 40 years our group has been involved in the planning and turnkey construction of facilities suitable for handling and storing liquefied and gaseous products. The petroleum industry, the chemical industry as well as a multitude of other industries count among our clientele.

We are a medium-size engineering company able to respond very flexibly to our customers issues. Being experts we boast the necessary legal authorizations.

Our installations manufactured in directive technology and built to stringent quality standards are well-reputed both at home and abroad. On request we are prepared to furnish appropriate references.

Geschichte und Entwicklung der Firmengruppe

1926

Gründung der Einzelfirma Gustav Strunk als Bergbauzulieferer, mit Sitz in Essen-Bergerhausen.

1940

Umwandlung der Einzelfirma in die Firma Maschinenfabrik Gustav Strunk GmbH.

1942

Umzug nach Essen-Haarzopf.

1965

Eintritt des Schwiegersohnes in die Firma, Herr Dipl.-Ing. Johann Scherzer.

1966/67

Neues Betätigungsfeld
Planung, Lieferung und Inbetriebnahme der ersten Kesselwagen-Beladeanlage bei der damaligen Erdoel-Raffinerie-Neustadt in Neustadt/Donau.
Weiterhin auch Bergbauzulieferer.

1983

Umzug in den Neubau im Gewerbegebiet in Essen-Kray-Leithe.

1983

Umbenennung der Firma in:
Strunk & Scherzer Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH.
